MISTAKE

CORRECTION

I hate to lose my time.

I hate to waste my time.

I don’t want to waste any of your time.

EXPLANATION

When we want to indicate that someone is not doing something that should be doing, we always use the verb ‘waste’ + timeStop wasting your time you have a lot of work to do. On the other hand, we can use the verb ‘lose’ + time when we want to indicate that someone doesn’t have a lot of time to do something, or that someone is running out of time. It is usually used when there is an urgency to do something or some particular deadline, and some hold-up happens. We lost half an hour looking for the passports.
